congratulated on his achievement Cipto Aji Gunawan received the Platinum Pro 5000 Award (The World's Most Elite Water Explorers) that is given in the diving world's largest exhibition in the United States (DEMA Show) on 18 November 2010.
Platinum Pro 5000 is a dive industry awards to individuals who have been diving a minimum of 5000 times and actually showed a maximum contribution in the diving industry world. This award conferment process starts from the proposed recipient of previous Pro 5000 and assessed by the assessors and the committee decided in accordance with very strict criteria. Cipto Indonesia is the 2nd person who received the award after previously are Mr. Loky Herlambang (late) who contributed significantly in developing the Park as a world dive industry icons. Cipto has been active in the world of diving industry since 1992 and is continuously engaged actively in the development of the national diving industry both as an Instructor (Cipto is the first Indonesian to obtain the highest qualified instructors of the largest dive organization in the world), businessmen, conservationists, underwater photographer and videographer as well as actively involved in the development of coastal communities in Indonesia. Previous Cipto also had never received an award as Champion of Reef Check Reef Check International Foundation, Hallmark of Excellence Worldwide from the world's largest diving organization, and also as an active resource persons from various media, both national (Metro TV, Trans TV, RCTI, Garuda in. Flight Magazine, National Geographic Indonesia, and so on) and International (CNN, United Nations TV, UNDP, the Asian Broadcasting Union, etc.). During this Cipto also has contributed more than 90 articles (both print and electronic) relating to tourism diving, underwater photography, diving conservation and development industry in general.
Currently Cipto assist the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in order to develop a national database of dive sites around Indonesia as well as a resource for the development of the national diving industry.
